Nick Thomas Hired as Manager of Investor Relations Employee Option Granted

Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSXV-SWY) is pleased to announce that the Company has retained the services of Mr. Nick Thomas as Manager of Investor Relations. Mr. Thomas is a geologist, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia in 1994. His responsibilities will include communicating with the Company's shareholders, preparation and dissemination of information related to the status of the Issuer's corporate development and acting as a liaison for the Issuer with the investing public, brokerage community, and outside investor relations consultants.

The Board of Directors has granted options, pursuant to the Corporation's Stock Option Plan and subject to regulatory approval, to purchase an aggregate of 155,000 common shares of the Corporation to officers, employees and consultants of the Corporation at an exercise price of $1.80 per share.
